About Labradorite
Labradorite is a stone of transformation. It is a useful companion through change, imparting strength and perseverance. It was originally found in Labrador, Canada which it was named after. It has a unique iridescence that has been termed “Labradorescence” which is the result of diffraction of light in the layers of rock. Labradorite exhibits such captivating colour that ancient legends state that the Northern Lights shone down on the shores of Labrador and were captured inside these beautiful stones.
