We handcraft this bracelet with 8mm faceted natural red Botswana Agate. It is strung onto a marine coated steel wire making this piece extra durable and great for daily wear. Featured on the bracelet is our classic sterling silver Stoneheart bead. We finish this piece with a sterling silver clasp and safety chain.
All hardware is sterling silver. Nothing is plated.
About Botswana Agate
Named for the area in Africa where it is mined, Botswana agate is called the sunset stone because it retains sunlight and comforts people through dark, lonely nights. The volcanic activity that produced these lovely stones dates back nearly 187 million years ago. Waves of lava flowed depositing layer upon layer of silica & quartz, creating the extra fine banding and patterns which make Botswana agates highly unique and desirable. Some collectors consider them royalty among agates.
Its quiet energy is particularly centering in meditation. As a fortification agate, it supports love, strength and positivity.
